Mobile Software JME Engineer
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Good JAVA/JAVA ME knowledge and experience, minimum of 1 year in a commercial Java ME environment.
- Proven ability to develop high quality code components in complex systems.
- Knowledge and experience of UML. Ability to create relevant class/sequence/flow diagrams and document technical work properly.
- Experiences of using configuration management tools within a commercial software project.
- Strong knowledge and experience using object-oriented design techniques.
- Good computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithm design, concurrency issues, and performance assessment.
- Evidence of having seen projects through the complete software lifecycle.
- Experience in software engineering, especially in embedded SW integration & verification
Desirable
- Mobile or Real time embedded software development experience - especially Java ME, Series 40 SDK, S60 SDK, Sony Ericsson SDK, Android, BlackBerry, iphone, Windows Mobile, Brew.
- Background in hardware/software development, debug and integration on resource constrained devices.
- Knowledge and experiences in scripting language such as perl/python.
- Experience in build, integration, testing, and release.
- Ability to work within strict quality procedures.
- Experience working within change procedures and raising problem reports.
