Regional Sales Directors
Position Scope
This Regional Sales Director position is based in the Field (Europe/Middle East/Africa Region, APAC Region, and Americas Region). The Regional Sales Director will drive expansion of PixSenses’ PSP (Preserve/Share/Publish) mobile user generated content (UGC) management solution business through direct sales and indirect sales channels to targeted Tier 1 and Tier 2 wireless carriers. This Director will ultimately recruit and build an effective and productive sales organization within his territory in lockstep with his growing sales backlog and revenues.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell PixSense PSP to wireless carriers and rapidly grow business across the Region;
- Develop and drive Sales through direct sales and indirect sales channels to maximize PixSense PSP (Preserve/Share/Publish) deployments;
- Convince mobile carriers to push Original Device Manufacturers (eg. Samsung, LG, Sharp, NEC, BenQ etc.) to pre-load PSP on their handsets for future deployments;
- Meet or exceed quarterly booking and revenue goals;
- Develop and expand business relationships within target mobile carriers;
- Represent customers and the Region to PixSense senior management and Board;
- Contribute actively to the evolving PSP data-driven business model and product requirements.
Position Requirements
- Can prove successful 8+ years of field sales and field management experience building mobile software businesses in Region;
- Has both successful publicly traded and start-up company experience in mobile software solutions provider companies;
- Has significant executive level relationships and contract negotiations experience within Region with carriers, ODM’s, and relevant third-party channel organizations;
- Can quickly recruit and build a strong Regional Sales Team to mirror quickly ramping business volumes in territory;
- Works effectively and well in any organization from senior executives down to individual contributors in all departments including Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Finance, and Legal. He is a proven Team Player: There is no “i” in Team”;
- Has strong language skills with at least one major Regional language, preferably Mandarin or Japanese in Asia or French, Spanish, or German in Europe;
- Possesses excellent English written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Earned Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, Marketing, or Communications. MBA or other relevant advanced degree is desirable.
