Senior Software Engineer
Requirements
- BCS / BS in Software Engineering
- At least 3+ years of application development experience
- Excellent software architecture and development skills: Knows what makes a good, future proof architecture (N-tier systems etc.).
- Experienced with especially the open source web technologies well (LAMP stack etc.) and is highly competent web service developer.
- Knows most relevant client facing server side software development technologies.
- Web: AJAX, (X)HTML, DOM, Soap, Rest, HTTP. Understands also the inner architectures and working of these technologies.
- Languages: Java, Bash, PHP, Linux scripting. Excellent programming skills are a must. Must know more than Java!
- Databases: MySQL and SQL optimization.
- Server Products: Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse, gcc, gdb.
- SW engineering aspects: Knowledge of the modern agile processes (SCRUM etc.) and methods of the full life-cycle of software.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented and software engineering concepts
- Strong problem solving skills and good team player
