Dr. Anurag Mendhekar, Founder, Chairman of the Board

Dr. Anurag Mendhekar, Founder, Chairman of the Board In addition to his duties as Chairman and founder of PixSense, Anurag is also the founder and President of Blue Vector Systems, a RFID management platform provider. He co-founded Online Anywhere which created the market category of content transformation tools for Mobile and non-PC devices. It was acquired by Yahoo! for $80M in 1998. Later, Anurag served as a key executive of Yahoo! Everywhere, and developed a global business around Yahoo!´s Mobile Internet services, achieving distribution through 40 wireless carriers. Anurag started his career at Xerox´s Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), where he was one of the inventors of Aspect Oriented Programming. Anurag has published several scientific papers, and holds six patents. Anurag holds Ph.D. and MS degrees in Computer Science from Indiana University, a MS in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, and a BE in Computer Engineering from Bombay University.

Mike Hodges

Mike HodgesCurrently a Venture Partner at ATA Ventures, Mike Hodges has developed a career as an industry recognized startup CEO, leading a variety of venture-backed companies through all stages of growth. Mike has filled CEO or iCEO roles at a variety of venture-backed technology start-ups, including Cygnet Systems, Biometric Imaging, SkyStream, NanoGram, Bandwidth9, Onetta, Silvan Networks, Tellium and MEMX. Mike graduated from U.C. Berkeley, receiving BSEE and MSEE degrees.

 

Aymerik Renard

Aymerik RenardBased in San Francisco, California, Aymerik Renard joined Innovacom in 1996, opening the North American office. His major investments include Cobalt Networks (Nasdaq IPO, then bought by publicly traded Sun Microsystems), eFusion (bought by publicly traded ITXC), Epicentric (bought by publicly traded Vignette), Four11 Corporation (bought by publicly traded Yahoo!), Intershop (Neuer Markt IPO), Preview Systems (Nasdaq IPO), Sandpiper Networks (bought by publicly traded Digital Island/Cable & Wireless), and Tumbleweed Communications (Nasdaq IPO).

Prior to joining Innovacom, Aymerik headed France Telecom North America's Internet and online service­related business development activities. Aymerik is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Information & Decision Systems, as well as Policy & Management.

R. Paul Singh, President & CEO

R. Paul Singh, President & CEOR. Paul Singh has over 20 years of experience in general management, marketing and business development in the communications industry. He founded ipVerse/Veraz (NASDAQ: VRAZ) which develops and manufactures Voice over IP switches for Telecom service providers worldwide. There he served in several management roles over nine years, from CEO to VP to GM. Before founding ipVerse, Mr. Singh held executive positions including CEO and co-founder of Internetware, an Internet security company later acquired by Quarterdeck, president of Launch Marketing, where he worked with Ascend, Netopia, and Sun Microsystems on product strategy and launch plans, and director of marketing for Telebit, a pioneer of remote access technology later acquired by Cisco Systems. Mr. Singh also worked at Sun Microsystems on projects involving integration of voice and data networking, and with 3Com in various product management and strategic marketing roles. He has co-authored three books on Internet related topics, published by New Riders Publishing.

Faraz Hoodbhoy, Founder, EVP, & CTO

Faraz Hoodbhoy, Founder, EVP, & CTOFaraz most recently served as Vice President of Business Development at NextBrick Solutions, Ltd., and was responsible for its Enterprise Search practice. Prior to that as Director Technical Sales at Clickmarks, Inc., Faraz developed key relationships around Clickmarks´ mobile integration platform with carriers in North and South America. As Director Global Solutions at Unisys Corporation, he created and implemented technology strategy for Unisys´ mobile and wireless field-force solutions offerings. At Cap-Gemini Ernst and Young, Faraz was part of the Center for Business Innovation where his research focus was on corporate performance measurement. Faraz started his career at Microsoft on the team responsible for building the XML 1.0 standard. He is co-author of the book, "Applied XML - A Toolkit for Programmers" and holds a BS in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer.
