Former GM of Openwave Asia-Pacific to spearhead international sales
Santa Clara, CA – January 22, 2007 – PixSense today announced the appointment of Lloyd Oki as Vice President of Sales and General Manager of PixSense’s Asia-Pacific business. Lloyd brings over 30 years of highly successful Asian and U.S. business development and field management experience in wireless communications, e-commerce, and government solution sales to PixSense. He will spearhead sales growth and customer acquisitions of PixSense’s leading mobile media solution to wireless carriers around the globe.
Prior to joining PixSense, Lloyd was Vice President and General Manager of Openwave Asia-Pacific and Japan Region. Lloyd successfully led an over $100M business unit, which accounted for more than 20 percent of Openwave’s global revenues. His extensive experience also includes senior positions at Compaq/HP, Clickmarks Inc., and Commerce One where he served as VP of Sales, Asia-Pacific. At Commerce One, Lloyd’s efforts contributed to Commerce One’s successful IPO and rapid growth; Lloyd grew the Asia organization from its inception to over $50M in annual revenues in less than 1.5 years.
“PixSense is truly on the leading edge of the mobile digital media industry, and has the ability to make major inroads in this huge addressable global market,” said Lloyd Oki, VP of Sales and General Manager of PixSense’s Asia-Pacific Region. “I am excited to help establish this company as a leader in mobile multi-media solutions and services for wireless carriers.”
