PixSense Names Telecom Industry Veteran Paul Singh as its New President and CEO

Santa Clara, CA – June 28, 2007 – PixSense, a global leader in mobile multimedia solutions, today announced the appointment of R. Paul Singh as its new president and chief executive officer. As the new CEO, Paul will spearhead the accelerated growth of PixSense and its PSP (Preserve, Share, Publish) Platform, which streamlines and simplifies mobile media management for carriers. PixSense’s founding CEO, Faraz Hoodbhoy, will take on the role of EVP and CTO, and will work closely with Paul to ensure that PixSense continues to solve mobile operators’ evolving challenges.

“I am very excited to join the PixSense team because this company is truly on the cutting edge of multimedia management solutions,” said R. Paul Singh, president and CEO of PixSense. “For a long time, mobile operators have been asking for a solution that will simultaneously allow them to offer new services that reduce churn and generate new revenue opportunities. I believe that PixSense’s PSP Platform fills this need and is the only solution that monetizes user-generated content on mobile handsets.”

Paul brings to PixSense an impressive track record of over 20 years experience in general management, marketing and business development in the Telco industry. He has held leadership roles spanning a variety of companies at different stages of growth, from startups all the way through IPO. As one of the founders of ipVerse/Veraz, he helped the company in its nine year journey in various management roles, most recently as VP and GM Interconnect Business. Prior to Veraz, Paul was CEO and co-founder of Internetware, an Internet security company that merged with Quarterdeck Corporation.

Prior to Internetware, Paul served as President of Launch Marketing, where he worked with networking companies such as Ascend, Netopia and Sun Microsystems to develop and implement product strategy and launch plans. Earlier, Paul was director of marketing for Telebit, a pioneer of remote access technology, which was later acquired by Cisco. His work at Sun Microsystems involved projects on integration of voice and data networking, and with 3Com in various product management and strategic marketing roles.

“As PixSense moves into the next stage of growth, Paul’s depth of experience will help to accelerate the company, given its potential in today’s market,” said Mike Hodges, partner at ATA Ventures and PixSense Board Member.  “We are all excited to have him on board and look forward to the growth and development he will lead.”

“Given our vantage point and understanding of the industry, we’re very excited about Paul’s new appointment as the CEO. We believe that Paul’s expertise makes him the perfect person to take PixSense to the next level and beyond,” said Aymerik Renard, general partner at Innovacom Venture Capital and PixSense Board Member.
