Globe Telecom Selects PixSense’s Mobile Multimedia Platform
Leading Philippine Mobile Operator chooses PixSense for advanced subscriber mobile photo and video services
Santa Clara, CA – October 21, 2008 – PixSense, a global leader in multimedia and web convergence solutions, announced today that Globe Telecom, Inc. (Globe), a major telecommunications provider in the Philippines, has selected the PixSense’s PSP (Preserve, Share, Publish) Solution Suite application. This will provide Globe subscribers with comprehensive mobile photo and video sharing services over their mobile network, thereby allowing users to seamlessly share their mobile media with friends and family, as well as the ability to easily post their media to their favorite media websites and social networking sites – all with a single click.
After a thorough evaluation of various user-generated content solutions, Globe selected PixSense as the top solution to provide its prepaid and postpaid subscribers with market-leading advanced data services. PixSense’s technology was found to be the most consumer-friendly and advanced in terms of its features, like Bio-Compression, and has received positive feedback from trial users.
